I’m a writer and editor. I have a phenomenal track record for closing projects with more revenue than anticipated while lowering expenses. I excel at Excel and project management. I’ve produced national and local conferences, handled hecklers from the stage as a poetry slam emcee, and represented companies in print and broadcast media. In 2018, I pulled up stakes for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to earn a Ph. D. in Rhetoric & Professional Communication at Iowa State University. As a graduate teaching assistant, I use my work experience in a variety of settings to help students connect class work to professional scenarios.

My research interests are the professionalization of editors, communicating science to general audiences, corporate social responsibility, and ice cream.
